Have any of you been doing any hunting with FNH guns lately?

We got this buck with an FN SCAR 17S over the weekend! The load used was an Underwood Ammo .308 Winchester 110-grain V-Max bullet at 3,300 feet-per-second muzzle velocity. The bullet did lots of internal damage, but it didn’t exit. The buck was shot in the heart from a distance of about 50 yards, and he dropped really quick.

He had 7 points on one side and 2 on the other (part of the left set of antlers was broken off, otherwise he would’ve had one or two extra points).

The SCAR 17S is a fantastic hunting rifle!
